from the desk of Murray J. Penglass...
Somewhere along the way, someone made me editor of this issue, except they didn’t tell me so, and I discovered the situation nearer to pub date than I care to admit. The way things have turned out, this Daughter’s Grimoire is a rather loosely organized anthology; where our previous edition strode purposefully and made arguments, this one ambles and makes
observations. Imagine you are an urban-dwelling ne’er-do-well in your late twenties, given to hanging around coffee shops and spending all your time writing. Some sunny Saturday, you decide to trip and wander the city. Your mind goes everywhere; you experience everything. I’m not quite sure what the decade was.
Until next time, I remain—
Very truly yours,
Murray J. Penglass
